EP 17: Anxiety Isn't a Faith Failure

Loving God doesn’t automatically make anxiety disappear.

You can pray, trust God, read Scripture—and still wake up with racing thoughts, a tight chest, and a mind that won’t shut off.

In this episode, we’re talking honestly about what it looks like to love God while battling anxiety. Not the polished version. Not the “just have more faith” version. The real one.

We unpack:

  • Why anxiety isn’t a spiritual failure
  • The pressure Christians feel to hide mental health struggles
  • What Scripture actually says about fear, worry, and trust
  • Loving God even when peace doesn’t come first
  • Why seeking help is wisdom, not weakness

This is a reminder that God meets us in the struggle—not after we’ve figured it out.

If anxiety has been quietly running your life, you are not alone and you are not broken.

📖 “When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy.” — Psalm 94:19
