“God told me…”
We hear those words all the time. But what happens when the person saying them is wrong?
False prophets don’t always look like obvious frauds. Sometimes they’re behind a pulpit. Sometimes they have thousands of followers. Sometimes they know the Bible, sound convincing, and tell people exactly what they want to hear.
In this episode, we’re getting into the uncomfortable side of faith, false prophets, spiritual manipulation, pastors and religious leaders, prosperity preaching, Mormonism, and the danger of blindly trusting someone just because they claim to speak for God.
Because honestly, the scary part isn’t just that people can be deceived.
